Mental Health

Our mental health assessments provide a comprehensive evaluation of symptoms, emotional wellbeing, and overall psychological functioning. They can help identify and understand mental health concerns and inform recommendations for appropriate support and treatment.
A mental health assessment typically involves two to three sessions, with fees of $280 per session.
Autism

Our autism assessments provide a comprehensive evaluation of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), considering social communication, repetitive behaviours, sensory experiences, developmental history, and everyday functioning.
The assessment typically includes:
Detailed intake and developmental history
Questionnaires and information from relevant people, such as parents, teachers or other professionals
Assessment sessions with the psychologist
Observation of the individual in a relevant setting, if required
Cognitive assessment, if required, at an additional cost of $660 to $740
Review of relevant reports and supporting information, such as school reports
Feedback session to discuss the assessment findings
Written report outlining the assessment results
Payment for autism assessments is charged progressively, with fees invoiced after each session. A Medicare rebate may be available for this assessment if you are eligible.

Cognitive/Learning Difficulties

Our cognitive assessments provide a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive abilities using a Wechsler assessment. The assessment provides insight into areas such as memory, attention, reasoning and problem-solving, helping to identify an individual's cognitive strengths and areas of difficulty.
Typically, cognitive assessments involve three to four sessions, including a feedback session to discuss the findings and recommendations. A written report is provided, outlining the assessment results in clear and accessible language.
